5744 Generac Review: We haven't had this item very long; however, the ordering experience from Amazon.com went very smooth and the installation went without any problems. The test phase following installation went without incident and the unit fired up on the scheduled date. We hired a contractor to perform the installation for $2700.00 and I watched every step. I would recommend going the contractor route unless you are a professional electrican. I have repaired home electrical appliances, wired new buildings, etc, but I do not consider myself qualified to install this unit. ... Read more »
